Ōtautahi Learning Days 2020
From 12-18 October Ako Ōtautahi Learning City Christchurch convened a series of virtual and in-person learning events with a focus on Equity, Access and Innovation. Originally planned to take place in May 2020, the Learning Days events took place in October 2020. The festival provided the opportunity to make learning visible across the city. Organisations hosted innovative, in-person and online learning events to connect some of the many learning opportunities across Ōtautahi Christchurch.
Our work is in partnership with Ngāi Tahu, through the support of Mātauraka Mahaanui and we encourage all events and participants to explore Te Ao Māori in our city of Ōtautahi, Christchurch. Learning Days are an opportunity to learn across generations and siloes, to explore ways in which we can create a sustainable city and to support learners of all ages to develop pathways for success. Events are held on days and at times and locations that are most accessible to attendees.
