Reading Flash Mob

11.30am -12.30pm

Organiser: Uru Mānuka Kāhui Ako

Reading is for everyone, regardless of age or language. Reading is fundamental to the learning process. Let's come together and celebrate reading as a community. This event is a public event where anyone is welcome to join. The event will include silent reading, and also reading aloud in a number of languages (at this stage we anticipate Te Reo Māori, Samoan, Tongan, Tagalog, and English).
The 'flash mob' will include students from 9/10 years old to 17/18 years old.
We would love people of all ages and backgrounds to come along and join us so pick up your favourite book and get to The Hub on Friday, 14th May at 11:30am.
