Ōtautahi Learning Days 2023
Ōtautahi Learning Days is an Ako Ōtautahi Learning City Christchurch festival celebrating learning in its many forms across our city, our place. We will explore our theme 'Kōtuituia - Weaving Curiosity '23', by welcoming rich conversations, encouraging hands-on learning and focusing on future opportunities, while people of all ages and abilities connect to their curious and learning selves. Imagine the possibilities!
This year we are very excited to partner with Remake Learning Days, a network of learning festivals originally from the US and sprawling across many regions. They have recognised what we’re up to here in Ōtautahi and are keen to help support our mahi - we’re excited for all the learnings this is bringing and becoming a part of this festival that connects us across the globe!
We encourage all events and participants to explore Te Ao Māori in our city of Ōtautahi, Christchurch and beyond. Ōtautahi Learning Days are an opportunity to learn across generations and siloes, to explore ways in which we can create a sustainable learning city and to support learners of all ages to develop pathways for success. Learning hosts design and run their own events and we bring these together so you can join the learning conversation.
We value our continued support from the Ministry of Education and Remake Learning Days, which allow us to make Ōtautahi Learning Days possible.
